December time!
Kevin is doing great at Hill Air Force Base. He likes his new friends and the stuff he is learning. So far it has been a good change for us. School was pretty hard this past semester. Kevin did pass his classes which was a big BLESSING for us. He has had 3 weeks off from school. Starts back on Monday. Not looking forward to that.
Kanyon was very excited about Christmas. She didn't want to see Santa so we didn't even try. If you know Kanyon at all she is so shy and wont talk to people she doesn't know. So we didn't want to fight that battle. We had a awesome Christmas PARTY at the day care. All the little kids brought a gift to share. We opened them all at the same time, it was so fun to see the kids and how excited they got. We got some really nice gifts this year. Thanks parents. Kanyon made cookies and was so proud of them. It's fun watching her GROW up and take pride in the things she does.
Kallie is getting so big, almost 4 months old. She just started rolling over this month. So cute to watch her try new things. Kanyon just loves Kallie so much, always helping and kissing her. Kallie is going to love having a older sister...
On Christmas this year we started some new tradition's. Keep the spirit of Christ in our home, open new PJ's on Christmas eve and listen to Christmas music all day Christmas eve. We were going to see the Lights, but got to BUSY. Next year for sure.
Ok so Kanyon got a grand American doll house with the little people in side, new clothes and a very nice Purple dress from Uncle Chris. My parents got the girls new Jammie's, both matching. They look so cute in them. Kev got a new Jazz jersey and Basketball shoes. I got a new Camera and the game JUST DANCE. Which is very fun. My parents got us a Beautiful Picture of the Bountiful Temple signed by Chad Hopkins. It is now hanging on the wall. Kev's dad got very sick Christmas day so we have not seen them yet.
Over all Christmas was really fun. We had a good time seeing family and watching the kids open there gifts.
December 28 I got to see my Best Friend Savannah and her Family. We went to Dinner at the Gatewall mall. Dinner was short and fun. SAVANNAH told the waiter guy it was Kev's birthday, So they sang to him. It was so fun. We said our good byes and it was hard. I only get to see Savannah about once a year. This was a short visit. I hope they move out here soon.
So that pretty much sums up December. We are looking forward to NEW YEAR and have made some new goals.
Over all Christmas was GOOD!

Mission Call
We are all so excited. He opened his call last night and had family and friends over. I know my younger brother will be a great missionary. I am very excited for him and this new adventure he will be on.
Kallie 2 months
Well I know she is like 3 months now, but at her 2 month check up, she is about 9 pounds, and 21 inches. She is a good baby and is starting to smile a lot more and is very alert. Kallie is now starting to sleep longer in the night. What a blessing that is. She is growing very well for the weight she was when she was born. Kanyon loves to help any way she can. She is a very good big sister.

My first, 2 Cloth Diapers
So far Kallie is doing good in them. I thought it would be hard to get the hang of it. With the help of my friend Jenelle I think I got it under control. I will see how tonight goes. I am going to give it a try for a month, if I still like it by December I will go full with it. They have way cute styles and different brands and all kind of things to choose from. My next buy will be a wet bag. A wet bag is where you can put the cloth diapers when they are bad. It looks like a little bag to me, it's not lame. They have really cute one's. So ya excited about that also.
More to come!
Halloween Party
This year we went to a Halloween party at Denny and Brittney's church. Kevin and I dressed up as Vampires. Kanyon was a Giraffe, and Kallie was a pumpkin. Halloween was lots of fun. At the party there was Elves, The Simpson's Spider man, Superman, and lots of other little kids. It was fun. They had a pinata and Kanyon loved it. She thought it was fun. We all had a good time. On Halloween we went to the ward trunk or treat, then it stared to pour on us, and it was not fun. We went to Kevin's parents and had some hot chili and just hung out. It was fun even with the rain. I liked Halloween this year. It was fun dressing up, and dressing up our house.

Update On Life
Kevin has now started up at Hill. He had 2 weeks of training and is now done with that and can move to this work station. Kevin has said he really likes it. The hours are good, it's nice to be home at night and help me. School is going good for Kevin. He has a night class at Davis so we can just go to school after work and get some studying done. His grades are good. We are happy he took the job. It will be a good job for many years.
Kanyon and Kallie are great. Kallie still is not sleeping all night, but her sleeps are getting longer at night, so we might be getting there soon. She is gaining lots of good weight, and is really a happy baby, she is now smiling a lot, (Just not when I take a picture.) I can't believe she is almost 2 months old. Kanyon loves to be a big help. She loves to hold, play, talk and teach Kallie all about everything. I know she will be a great big help. Having kids is a joy. We love that our family is growing.
As a family we have been to the Pumpkin Patch, 4 wheeling and we Blessed Kallie. ( I put Pictures up down below.)
Boone is good also. He does not sleep in the house anymore, he wants to be outside in the shed. He has a bed out there. (He is warm.) When people walk by he still barks at them. I feel safer with Boone outside. He is a good dog. So ya that's our family.
Cody turned in his papers for his mission last week. So we should find out in like a week where he will be going.
WHERE DO YOU THINK CODY WILL GO?
(I would love to tell him where you think)
Farmington Canyon
Pumpkin Patch
After the pumpkin patch we went to good old' IN N OUT and but was it so worth it. I am very happy that there is now one in Centervill. Only 18 min from my house. LOVE IT!
Baby Blessing
On Sunday 10-10-10 we BLESSED Kallie. It was a beautiful day. We had lots of family and friends come to the Baby Blessing. Kevin said some really powerful words. Things I will never forget and I will tell Kallie as she gets older. We had our FAMILY and FRIENDS over for soups and salads. Kallie was a good girl and let lots of people hold her. We are very lucky to have a good baby. We are LUCKY to be her parents.

Sunday Drive= Fall leaves
I love FALL one of my favoirte times of year. I love being able to sit out in the back, holding Kallie and watching Kanyon play. The WEATHER is great, and the leaves are changing. Every year KEVIN and I have taken a Conference drive up the OGDEN and WEBER canyon's to see the leaves change. We have done this before we were even married. It is something I look FORWARD to every year.

Thoughts on nurturing children!
Deuteronomy 6:7 [Deut. 6:7]: “Thou shalt teach [the words of the Lord] diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.”
Mosiah 4:15: “Ye will teach [children] to walk in the ways of truth and soberness; ye will teach them to love one another, and to serve one another.”
3 Nephi 22:13 [3 Ne. 22:13]: “All thy children shall be taught of the Lord; and great shall be the peace of thy children.”
President David O. McKay (1873–1970): “[The] ability and willingness properly to rear children, the gift to love, and eagerness … to express it in soul development, make motherhood the noblest office or calling in the world. She who can paint a masterpiece or write a book that will influence millions deserves the admiration and the plaudits of mankind; but she who rears successfully a family of healthy, beautiful sons and daughters, whose influence will be felt through generations to come, … deserves the highest honor that man can give, and the choicest blessings of God” (Gospel Ideals [1954], 453–54).
How can we as sisters in the gospel better fulfill our God-given purposes?
Doctrine and Covenants 25:13–15 [D&C 25:13–15]: In July 1830 the Prophet Joseph Smith received a revelation for his wife, Emma. The revelation was given to strengthen, encourage, and instruct her and was recorded in the Doctrine and Covenants to strengthen, encourage, and instruct others: “Lift up thy heart and rejoice, and cleave unto the covenants which thou hast made. Continue in the spirit of meekness, and beware of pride. … Keep my commandments continually, and a crown of righteousness thou shalt receive.”
President Spencer W. Kimball (1895–1985): “Each of you should be grateful to be a woman! … To be a righteous woman is a glorious thing in any age. To be a righteous woman during the winding up scenes on this earth, before the second coming of our Savior, is an especially noble calling. The righteous woman’s strength and influence today can be tenfold what it might be in more tranquil times” (“Privileges and Responsibilities of Sisters,” Ensign, Nov. 1978, 103).
Mary Ellen W. Smoot, former Relief Society general president: “Each of us has a vital role, even a sacred mission to perform as a daughter in Zion. … It is our destiny to rejoice as we fill the earth with greater kindness and gentleness, greater love and compassion, greater sympathy and empathy than have ever been known before. It is time to give ourselves to the Master and allow Him to lead us into fruitful fields where we can enrich a world filled with darkness and misery” (“Rejoice, Daughters of Zion,” Ensign, Nov. 1999, 94).
“I suggest that you … humbly ask the Lord what he would have you do and why you are uniquely suited to serve. Ask yourself questions like these: ‘What can I contribute?’ ‘Why was I chosen to be the mother of these children?’ ‘What can I do to strengthen the sisters in my ward?’ and so forth. We each have purpose and reason for being. Every sister has a thread to weave in the tapestry of time. Discover your thread and begin to weave” (Relief Society, the Possible Dream [address delivered at the 1998 Brigham Young University women’s conference]).
I do know...
I think as mothers sometimes we know what is best for our children, sometimes better then the doctor knows. That's why we have children, because we know them better then anyone. That's just how I feel about it.

Cloth Diapers???
They are not like the old school ones, they are much better now, you can just snap and go, and they have a bag you can put the dirty ones in when you are out and about. Well when I get my first shipment of cloth diapers I will let everyone know how they work out.
2 weeks!
Our lives are for sure more busy then ever. I do enjoy it so much though. Having 2 girls is so much fun. Thank you for all the support everyone has giving to us. Kevin and I are very lucky to have two beautiful daughters.

Kallie Hannah Kupfer
Ok so here is how it all went down. Thursday, just another day at work, nothing new, just working. It's like 5 and I am off work, I felt a really hard contraction. I thought that was ok. Then Kanyon and I walked over to my in laws, felt some more, they didn't hurt, just kinda like braxton hicks. We then went on a walk to a birthday party, It was a few houses down. While sitting there I felt more. So I timed them. They were about 3 min apart. About 8pm they were coming even harder, so we go leave the party and get going home. we get home and my aunt just stopped over, I told her what was going on, so she goes home takes care of some things and then comes back, I say I am going to drive to the hospital and find out what is going on, I didn't want Kevin leaving work if it was a false alarm again. So I went alone. I get up they get me all check in, ask as few questions and they find out I am at a 5, almost 6. So I was staying. It was about 10:30 when they said I was staying. Called Kevin, he leaves work, takes him about an hour to drive home. We call our parents and they come to the hospital. The nurse says I have a while still and my Doctor wont come in and break my water, so it has to break on it's own. I am like what the. This is going to take all night. They checked to see if I was moving along and I wasn't so they started my epidural even though I was fine, I wanted to get this baby out and hold her. They put that in at 12:00am. Soon the contractions were coming about 1 min apart and I went from a 5 to a 7, within the hour. My water broke about 1:15 and that was really cool. It felt like something was walking on my legs. Gross I know, but cool to have it brake as well. So by then i was at a 8 and they started getting ready for the delivery. I could feel contractions and that was fine, I was not in pain. I had a button I could push once they got bad. So at like 1:45 they said I was at a 10, called my Dr. and he came up, Started pushing and she was out by 2:01am. I pushed 2 times. It was so easy. I felt the contractions, so I new when to push. It felt so cool when she came out. It was like this awesome feeling. Kallie was born at 2:01 am Friday September 3, 2010. She is very healthy. She had so much white stuff on her, it was hard to get it off. She has been doing great. She has very blond hair, hope it stays that way. She looks a lot like Kanyon, when Kanyon was born. Kevin thinks she looks more like him then Kanyon did when she was born. I am just sad she doesn't look like me. Maybe next time. Things are going great and we are home and doing good. We are so blessed to have a new daughter in our life.
