The Cool Bus! and Bowling

Kallie Loved to bowl. She had a wait till like the last one because once she did it, she would not stop. It was safer that way.

I just love theses 2 girls. What a joy they are
I love my Life! ( See the 2 girls hugging, I love it.)

The cool bus. Kanyon got to ride in the bus on the way to the bowling ally. She so loved it. Yes Kallie was sad she couldn't go too.

Bowling was a so fun. I love that my kids are getting older to do more things. The girls get along great and are best friends. I am so thankful for having a wonderful family.
Yes our life is not perfect, we have many days were no one is getting along, but when I see my girls happy and playing well, that's when I know we will make it. I know we can make it though anything.

This next part has nothing to do with bus or bowling. Wanted to share anyways.

I heard a quote today. It was a text from a great friend. it says.
" Just when all seems to be going right, challenges often come in multiple doses applied simultaneously. When those trials are not consequences of our own disobedience, they are evidence that the Lord feels you are prepared to grow more. He therefore gives you experiences that stimulate growth, understanding and compassion which polish you for everlasting benefit. To get from where you are to where HE wants you to be requires a lot of stretching, and that generally entails discomfort and pain... This is an experience in profound trust--- Trust Jesus Christ..- Elder Richard G. Scott.

Jeep time

So we got the girls a Jeep for the Summer. They seem to love it. They got very excited when they came to the field and it was there. Kanyon loves to go in circles, and drive really fast. She does really good. We have a cemetery behind our house and it's going to be really nice to take a walk and have them drive their jeep. It's really fun.

Kanyon is putting gas in the Jeep
Love the Jeep
Kallie gets a turn to drive it.

That's what it really means in the Penman family
I grew up always wanting a jeep. A jeep of my own. We have jeeps in our family. My Brother Scott has a Willy's, my dad has a Willy's. Other brother Chris has a Willy's. They just run in the family. They like to buy them junk and fix them up. When Scott was on his Mission I was able to drive his Jeep a few times to and from seminary. It was super hard to turn and sometimes would just randomly die. Chris had put big tires on Scott's jeep while he was still gone. It sure made it the cool thing on the block. When we moved to Utah I told everyone that it was my jeep, but it was broken so I couldn't drive it. They later found out it was really my older brother's. Wow I felt stupid. I dated boys that had jeeps and just loved it. I always wanted one. I thought for sure I would save my money and buy one. I just didn't think my 2 girls would beat me to it.
Maybe Kevin and I will follow the trend and buy a old Willy's and fix it up for our summer time car. You never know!

What kind of car did you always want, but never got?

Easter

Easter Sunday was good. We had good food, good family members to see, good times. The girls in their Sunday dress. It was a fun day to be with the people I love so much. I was so thankful for not only my family, but for Christ. I have a much better Love for our Savior then I did before. I am thankful for him and his resurrection and great thing he did for the world. I am so lucky to have this gospel in our life.
