Oh Dogs!! Don't you Just Love them!

So if you don't know I have a yellow lab, he is 2 years old. His name is Boone. He is a really good dog most days. Well I talked Kevin into letting me spend the money and get him a nice bath, teeth brush, ears cleaned,and nails clipped. I was so happy he was getting this done. He needed it really bad. Boone is a swimmer, he jumps in pools, lakes, pretty much anything with water. He loves to swim, so I knew he needed a good bath. Well 30 bucks is not to bad to have this done for a big dog.I go pick him up from the Pet Spa. He looks and smells so much better then before I was very pleased with the work. The lady tells me he was a funny dog. He would not sit still for her to wash him, he some how got lose though the Pet Spa and was running all around the place in soap. He was jumping on the couch and playing with the other dogs there. When they got Boone back to the washer she finished real fast so he would not jump and run around again. When it came time to do the teeth he broke the tooth brush, so she had to get a new one and have help holding him so he would not eat the tooth brush. So after the lady tells me this I was thinking oh my, Boone can't you just sit still so you can get cleaned? No he can't. We get him home and he runs in the back yard and is playing with the other Yellow lab, (it's the renters down stairs Dog) Well Anne likes to get out of the yard and run around with other people.
So Sunday comes and I let Boone out to go pottie and within 20 min both dogs are gone. I didn't have time to go find them. I wanted to get ready for church and have breakfast, so I was mad. Well Kanyon and I starting looking for them, I can't find them, so I just wait. Then Kevin see Anne running into someones yard, so I get her home, then I am still looking Boone, well I see him coming right around the corner, I get him home and I start to smell something bad. I said to Boone, Boone you don't need to fart that's gross. Well we get home and I start to smell it more. So I go and look. I saw that Boone had wasted my 30 dollars and I was mad. He had rolled in dog poop at someone esle's home. I was not happy. I had to spend about 1 hour giving him a bath and cleaning him up so he didn't smell anymore. I felt so gross after doing that, I wanted to shower all day long. I didn't, however I did take a second shower that morning. I felt better. Well The dogs got out again and this time Anne rolled in the dog Poop. So I didn't feel to bad because Boone had done it too. I don't get why dogs like to do that. They didn't get out again till later that night. I am sitting at Mylee's first b-day party when my phone rings and someone has found my dog. I was ready to say why don't you keep it, I am done with him. I was that mad.I didn't though, so we leave the party and go Get Boone, when I saw him he looked at me and smiled, It was hard not to be mad at him anymore. We run home together and I am so thank full it's time for bed. I had enough of the two dogs getting out. Kevin found out how they were getting out and fixed the problem so it would not happen again.
Monday morning came, I had alot to do. So get up take Boone out and start getting Kanyon and me ready. I go out to get Boone, well he's gone again. I find him playing with yard guys behind our house. He loves them. So we get both dogs back home again, this time I am so mad I put him in the shed for 10 min. I walk in get Kanyon some breakfast and I go back out to let him out. Well while he was in the shed, him and Anne ( don't know which one) opened some red paint and had a hay day with it. Boone is now red. He is a Red lab. I didn't have time to clean it off so I let him stay red for the day. By the time I got home from doing all my stuff the red has come off. I did have to give him a shower to get most of it off. He is looking better now. Still kinda red but not as bad. Boone has been a pain the last two days. I don't know what the lady did who gave him a bath, but he has never acted up like this. I am hoping to go home from work and find him in my back yard and the back yard the same as when I left it.
I do love my Boone, he is a fun dog to have, Kanyon just loves him and he loves her. When she cries he goes over to her and will stand by her. It is just so cute. We do love our Boone. He does make us crazy, but what dogs don't?
