September and October

 We started the month off with Kanyon starting School, as well as Kevin. He is in his last semester of school. It has been a long 10 years of school. We got to get though the next 7 weeks still. With school and Kevin working 6 days a week, we still find time to go on dates. We went to a few movies, dinner and then we went on a Double date with Jess and Sam. We went on a zip line down in Provo. It was so much fun. It was 5 different legs, and at first I was scared, but then was not bad at all. It was worth the money. We all had a blast. It is something that we will do again. Kanyon is even old enough to go. I know she will love it. My ward got tickets to the general Relief Society conference. We took a big bus down to Salt Lake. It was really neat. We were really close to the Prophet. I loved it. It was so neat to be that close. 

That's all I can think of for now in September.

In October I made some Halloween decorations for the first time. It was very fun. I liked it. I wish I had the money and time to do more. We took the girls to the tree house, we had not been in awhile, it was a good day to go. I feel like the girls learn a lot there. Kanyon and Kallie both got their hair cuts. Kanyon was the same as before, and Kallie is more of a A-line. Kallie did so well for her first hair cut. She is not my baby anymore. Then the next thing I know It's Halloween weekend and we are at the Zoo. Kevin and I took the girls to the zoo. My family also went. It was fun, busy but the kids had a blast, and were able to wear their customs. Kanyon had her very first primary program and she did so good. She had her part all memorized even Kallie had it memorized. It was cute. I am very proud of her. Then comes Halloween and they went to the trunk or treat at the ward, and Kevin and I went to a Jazz game. I had won tickets to the game. It was opening night. our seats were wonderful. We have never sat that close. So it was great. A great way to end the month.

We Ended the night at the opening night for the Utah Jazz. I won tickets on the radio. It pays to listen to Country music.

Fall time!

I just love fall. Fall makes me happy. I have not done a post in over a month. I get on all the time and I never have anything to say. But today I will say I love fall.

Second year of School!

Kanyon had her first day of pre school. She loved it. She is back to teacher Sherrie. I am so happy and excited for her. She will learn tons of news things and get ready for the next step. I am so proud of her and the fact that she loves to go to school, and learn. She is so smart. I am very excited for this school year!

Summer to and End

Ok, so I know it has been a few months. I have been busy with the summer and taking the girls here and there. It really did fly by. One of the things we have done is swimming. Kanyon and Kallie love to swim, they could spend all day in the swimming pool if we let them. Our friend Chase has a diving board. Yes they both went off and just loved it. I can't believe how brave they are. Kallie just loves to jump in the pool. Sometimes we have to make sure someone can swim fast enough to keep up with her. Man she is so much fun. Kanyon is now swimming alone with her life jacket, but she doesn't have to hold on to me or Kevin. What a funny girl she is. She also loves to jump in and off the diving board. I can't believe how fast they grow up. We never made it camping. Too many fires in Utah. So we were not able to go. We were sad. We hope to go next year. We loved watching the firework shows. Roy Days has the best fireworks and the girls just had a blast. We loved playing at the park with our friends. Do you ever feel like you eat out more in the summer? I feel like I never cooked, and if I did it was easy pizza. We enjoyed lots of bbq's and eating out at new places. We also went to a few baseball games. The girls really enjoyed that. We took the girls to Lagoon for their birthdays. Lagoon is so much better when you have kids who can enjoy it. They had a blast. Kanyon didn't stop smiling the whole time. She just was big enough to go on most the rides that she wanted. She will be tall enough next year to go on the white roller coaster. She is already talking about next year. Kallie was able to go on most of the rides. She also loved it. Sometimes I thought she was going to throw up but she never did. After the ride she would say "so cool." It's so cute to hear her say that. She is talking so much. She loves to talk and tell me what she is doing and she always says "k" when she is done talking. It's funny. We had the birthday parties for the girls. One night we had it at the splash pad in Ogden. They had their little friends come to that one. It was a fun night talking and watching the kids hit the pinata. Fun to watch little ones. They got lots of Barbie dolls and movies, and a pillow pet that has lights in it. Kanyon was jumping when she opened it. She had been wanting one for a while so yeah she was thrilled. Kallie was happy about the movies. Both girls were happy. We then had their party for the family. It was raining so hard that we had to move the party inside. It was not too bad. Yes we need a bigger house but we made it work. The girls got some awesome toys, barbies, tutu, and a blanket from my grandma. They were both very happy with their birthdays.
I can't believe how big they both are. It seems like just yesterday they were little babies and now they are growing up so fast. Kanyon has her first day of school this week. She can't wait to get back and see her friends. She has many friends and loves to learn new things at school. She is happy to start going. She says to me "summer is over, time for school!" I will have a little more free time with Kallie now. Just a few hours. She will miss Kanyon but it will be good for me and her.
So that's about it for the girls.As for as Kevin and I, we are both good. I am still working part time at the bridal shop and I like it. I like helping brides pick out their dress, something they will always remember. It really is fun. I am taking a institute class, The Book of Mormon. I have only been one time because kids need me, or I cant find a sitter, but I am going to start going every Tuesday and Thursday. Kevin and I are also taking a marriage class. It's Thursday nights. I am excited about it. No kids and it is kind of a date night! I did however take Kevin out for a nice couple massage. We both really like it. We needed it. I am sure hoping we can do that again and soon! Kevin had a hard summer. He sprained his ankle at the first of the summer. He couldn't run or do much of a work out. Then, right when he was healing from that, his back went out. He herniated 3 discs. It was so painful for him. He was down for about 2 weeks in the summer. Then at the same time he hurt his finger at work and it lead into a infection in the whole hand, so he could not use his left hand and his back hurt. It was hard on him. He didn't give up. He worked hard and got his hand and back feeling good again. We got to do the yard together because while he was hurt he couldn't do it by himself this year. I was happy to help. Our yard is now complete. I don't think there is one more thing we need to add next year. Ya for that!
Kevin is in his last semester. YA. He is very excited. He is still up at Weber State and can't ever find a parking place, so he rides his bike up to school. I think that's so cool. We both have bikes. Kevin bought me a bike one random day, and now we both can ride. We took the kids on a bike ride on Sunday, and yeah I wanted to be done after like 10 min. Man, pulling that bike trailer is a hard thing. Oh well we made it. I need to start doing that more this fall. I know the girls really enjoy it. Kevin is still working on Base. He is in a new building and seems to like it more. He really seems to enjoy it more then he thought he would, which makes me and him both happy. So Kevin and I are doing good. Kids are doing good. Boone is good. We are just living life and having fun.

Summer Time

Summertime is here and we have been busy. We have started out by going to the zoo. The kids loved it. The bird show was the best. The birds fly over you so many times, and they are so funny.  Kanyon really liked the bird show the most. Her favorite animal at the zoo would be the Giraffe. She could spend all day just looking at the Giraffe. I asked Kallie what she liked and her reply was favorite animal at the zoo, but really she liked the elephant show. She just loved that one. Taking the kids to the zoo was so much fun. They have been 2 times now. Plenty more to come. 

Fireworks are my favorite part of summer. We started out our firework show with the South Ogden fireworks. We went with some friends and sat by the band and it was great while they played. The kids had lots of room to run and play. It was a great night and worth our time. Kallie didn't want to watch the fireworks at all. She would cover her face and not look at them. Kinda funny. Kanyon just sat and watched she is going to be like me and LOVE them. 

Baseball. We went to a Ogden City Raptors baseball game, The girls had never been and they really enjoyed it. We got in for 1 dollar. Can't beat that. Kanyon liked playing with the ball she found and running back and forth. Kevin was trying to get her interested and watch the plays. But for a 4 year old, not going to happen. Overall the game was a lot of fun. 

We were going to go camping but there are so many fires in Utah that we did not go. We then went swimming at our friend Chase's house and oh my gosh that was better than camping. Kanyon and Kallie were jumping off the diving board. So brave. Both girls did that so many times. It was a blast. Kallie just loved swimming. She would jump to us and swim all over the place. We then had a camp fire, so kinda the same. It was fun to just chat and relax.

The 4th started out good. We went to the aquatic center in Roy and went down the big slides and just had a good time. My family was there and it was nice to see them all having a blast. Kallie again went down the slide. This time she went alone, we did catch her of course, but she still loved it. I feel like my girls are growing up so fast. It's crazy how time flies. Our friends came with us and they took their kids down the big slides too. It was a great night. The 4th was kinda sad at first, Kallie was super sick (got too hot from the day before). So we missed the ward breakfast and the Kaysville parade, we did however go to Layton. Kevin's mom lives right by the school so we just parked there and had a spot saved. It was nice timing, showing up and getting a spot. Perfect. We then came home and let Kallie sleep. She slept till 4. We all kinda took a break. It was nice to just hang with each other. We went back to Layton to see the fireworks, and again we had a great parking space. Fireworks were kinda slow at first but it picked up and we had fun. I am so glad we went. I love fireworks. This time Kallie liked them. She sat and watched and didn't get scared. 

It's only July and I feel like summer is almost over and we have tons to do still. Crazy how times flies. Before we know it, the girls birthday will be here and then school starts. Not looking forward to that.
