Happy Halloween

Today is not my favorite day, But having Kanyon I am trying to make the best of it. She is going to look so cute in her Tinker Bell outfit that I made for her. I could not find any green leggings or a green shirt, so she will wear purple. I am very excited to see her dressed up. I guess my day wont be so bad after all. I wish Kevin didn't have to work so we could see her excitement together.

The Sunshine State

So Thursday Oct 15th, we got on a plane and flew to Florida, We were on the plane for about an hour when a lady went in to Labor. The guy sitting next to me just happens to in the Medical field. He came back and told us that the lady was going into labor, they are giving her some oxygen so that should help. I am thinking great we are going to have to stop the plane so this lady can have her baby. Kevin then turns to me and Say's if she has her baby on the plane what state do they say it's born in. I thought that little joke was funny. She didn't have the baby on the plane, she started to feel better. We made it to Orlando just fine. The prego lady got off first though, so we still had to wait like 15 min. Oh well not a big deal. Kanyon was so good on the flight there. She loved looking out the window, it was so cute to see her smile so big when she looked down.
So I am not a fan of the heat right, so we get off and go outside and I am like "really, it's hot here" Kevin just starts to laugh because he likes the hot humidity weather he said it feels like his mission to him. I do have to say Florida is a very pretty place to live. It is so green and no leaves where on the ground. So we get to our Condo, It was really nice we were on the 4th floor with no view at all, but that's ok. Kanyon had her own room so that was nice we could put her to bed and not worry about watching tv and making to much noise. We get unpacked and go to dinner, we went to the Sizzler and oh my gosh was it just gross, they had no food, and very over priced. Cost us 30 for no food. Not very happy with that place, we came back just in time to watch the Office. Kevin and I love to watch the office, it is one of my most favorite times with him.
Friday came and we slept in till like 10, it was so nice. We went to breakfast at this buffe place and it was pretty good. Much better then the night before. We enjoyed our breakfast and then wanted to go shopping, so we looked at the places we could go, and we went to the outlets, it was like 150 store's. So many to choose from. We didn't buy much there, lots of things were way to much for us. Oh my gosh in this one store I went into, Carters this lady was spending over 1200.00 on clothes. I was like Oh my I want your money, and it was all cash. She was lucky and the kid was going to be lucky also.
One nice thing about the trip was the naps we were able to take, we loved not having a list of things to do. We could just go when we wanted and not have to worry about anything or anyone. When we woke up we wanted to go to more outlets, this time on the other side of town, so we went there and we went to a few stores trying to find Kevin some shoes. We never did find the shoes he wanted, we did buy some clothes for us though. It was getting late, so we got a pizza from the place they made it in the fire pit type looking thing, kinda cool. It was good also.
Saturday we went to the BEACH. I love the beach so much, We went to this beach called Coco beach it was about 45 min drive, not to bad, and it was kinda pretty. So we find the beach and the sand is so nice and cool, then I wanted to rent a body bored, so I go do that and we have a blast on it in the waves, it was so nice, the water was great. Kanyon didn't like the waves at all. She doesn't even like water, but she liked the sand. She was eating it, and then feeding the birds her food. She likes the birds till they started coming after her, then not so much anymore. Over all we had a blast at the beach. It was so fun and a really nice day.
We went back and got ready for the night, we were going to go to this nice dinner, it was Brazilian food, but it was like 40 a plate, so we didn't eat there, Kevin was sad, me I didn't care either way. We then just ate at this buffe place, still good but much cheaper then 40 bucks. We still had a good time. I was starting to get sad knowing I was going home in less then 24 hours.
Sunday came, we packed up and got ready to leave, we didn't have to be at the airport till 330, so we had time to kill. We went back down International drive, which is 30 miles of everything you need, stores, food, shopping, mini golf, everything was on this main road. We saw the coolest thing. This building that was upside down, it was build that way. The trees were upside down, I am talking everything. It was so cool. It was called wonder works. It was the coolest thing of art I have ever seen. We walked around that tiny little mall for a bit then we went to get some lunch before the plane ride home. We went to a pizza joint called CICI's pizza, it was pretty good. Kanyon sure did love it. She ate alot, she ate alot the whole time but she really likes her pizza. We then left and we drove by the Largest McDee's in the world. He has two stories high and a gift shop right in side, it was way better then the ones we have in Utah.
So here we are on the plane ride home, not wanting to leave, or wishing I could have the beach at my home. We had a good flight for the most part. Lady in front of me was mad that Kanyon touched her seat just one time. She was a beast anyways so whatever with her.
Larry picked us up and we were headed home. It was a short weekend, but we made tons of good memories and had a blast.
It does feel good to be home again...

Hay Ride and Pumpkin Patch!

There is this place called J & J nursery. They have tons of trees, plants home decor stuff, everything is just so cute. I loved going there. So this year they had free HAY RIDES and free PUMPKINS for the kids. So we took KANYON on Saturday. She had a good time. We got to see tons of pumpkins from all sizes. She picked hers out. ( With the help from her dad.) We walked around till we got the right size for her. At first she didn't know what to do with it, she started to kiss it. It was so CUTE. We told our FRIENDS about it also, so they came along for the fun. It was SO cute to see the BOYS with there PUMPKINS. They were so proud of them. Little Braxton (Kyle and Brooke's Little 2 year Old) was so cute with his little pumpkin, He didn't want the big one, JUST the little one, It was the perfect size.
By the time we got done going though all the PUMPKINS it was getting cold and KANYON had a very RED NOSE. We were on the hay ride coming back and KANYON sat there so good. She had her own little seat. She sat there with her arms folded and was happy to be there. It was a GOOD DAY to be with FAMILY and great FRIENDS. I can't WAIT till next year when KANYON will be 2 and will know a little more about what is going on. She will be running all over the place, I Can just see it now, Me running after HER and falling over the PUMPKINS.. Not a fun time that will be.... So maybe we WON'T be going next year..
