Family
Kevin is still working up on base. He has been there for about a year and half. He seems to like it very much. He is still in school. Last year for him. We can do it. As for me I have a new job. I work as a bridal consultant in Riverdale. I only work a few days a week. I have only been there a week. I seem to like it a lot. It is something I have wanted to do for a while. I love weddings and I love planning them. I am still able to be home with my kids, which seems to be working out best. I am grateful for this new chapter of my life. I am grateful to be doing something I know I can move forward with. I am lucky to have a husband to help me in my dreams.
Kevin and I are working hard together to make a happy family.
My Kallie
Kallie is walking and now running, she is always trying to keep up with Kanyon. She loves to do everything with Kanyon. Kallie is talking really good for her age. She try's to say words to us. She loves to play with anyone, Kallie is not as shy as Kanyon was. She really is a sweetheart. Her and Kanyon can sit and play with the doll house, have a tea party and watch TV together. They really are best friends. I think as they get older they will be very close. Kallie goes to nursery in a few more months, we are very excited about that. She will do fine. I love my little Kallie.

Kanyon is loving preschool, in South Weber. She is learning lots of neat things at school, she brought home a bag of water, she goes lets put this outside and see if it turns to solid. She just loves to learn, I am very proud of her. She just started primary and is learning so much and making lots of new friends. She is a fun and loving girl. She can make you laugh all day. Her new favorite words are " I am freaking out mom" " Oh great" "come on honey" She loves to be a big sister. Kanyon loves to sing. She can sing her new primary songs and even sings to Adel. We want her to sing whenever she wants. She is really starting to show more of her personality. We love it. She is a joy in our home.

Birthday Boy!
Today is Kevin's Birthday. He is now 28. (Big Guy)
Last night I threw him a surprise party at our house. I don't have any pictures, but just so you all can get a idea in your head. His face was priceless. He had no idea I was planning a party. I have been planning it for 2 weeks now. It was a great success. It was getting tricky when it come down to going to dinner. Let me just say, I pulled it off.
Ok first thing. I had gotten Kayla to babysit like 2 weeks ago. She was so excited. Then the tree's fell down and we had to spend the whole day helping clean up the tree's. I needed to make a cake, So I ended up doing it over at Sharon's. I was also getting the plates and cups ready, all while he was at the dump with the tree branches. Then the cake was not done, but Kevin wanted to go home and get some stuff done. I am like ok. Thinking I need to get the cake back here though by 5. How am I going to pull that off? So Brad said, "Kim take my truck with the tree in it, then bring it back, then I will bring you back home with the cake." Perfect I said. So I take the truck, with the tree. I work really fast to clean up and get the tree up so that way I have more time to get everything done. Well that all worked out, then we are done with the tree and Kevin said He doesn't want to go out tonight because he has to study and was to tired from the tree work. Um no, we need to go out, We have people coming over at 7. So yeah buck up and lets go. Did I say that? No.
I simply said, I think it would be nice to just get out, you can pick out your gift at Kohl's. Kayla is already planning on coming over so lets just stick to the plan. He said yes, not wanting to, but we left. Now we have 2 Kohls one in Layton, and one in Clinton. We always go to Clinton. But last night I made a point to go to Layton, and then the mall. Well this was the tricky part. We live by a cemetery and always pull around the back. I couldn't have us go though the parking lot because of the cars in the back. Not a good idea. So I had to say lets go to the Wendy's on 89, I like it better. (all the same but still), that way we can pull up in the front and not the back. Man it was tricky. Then we get to Wendy's and Kevin gets food. I was so nervous I didn't get much to eat. So we pull in the front and get in the house, I am just standing there, and he goes, "will you just walk in the house" I go down the hall and everyone is there, and we all say surprise. Kevin just stood there for about 1 min and thinking what is going on. It was awesome. He had no idea. He then asked how I pulled it off. I told him how hard it was to do things different and not go to the same stores, or the same way home. He was so out of it yesterday he didn't think about it. But looking back he said he should have picked up on all the clues. They were right in front of him. The cake, the Wendy's on 89, the Kohls in Layton. We need to go out. Just little things. But we all had fun and played games, and just enjoyed each other company. He said I will never get away with that again! Good because it was tricky the first time!
What kinda surprises have you done for someone else?

Christmas Tree
The wind storm!
Thursday was a big wind storm. This is what happened to the trees. Sharon lost 2 pine trees, and Larry and Judy lost a 50 foot tree in the front yard. Thank goodness no big time damage was done. We all pulled together Saturday morning to do a South Weber clean up. It was crazy, but kinda fun. It's so crazy what a wind storm can do.
